The Dangerboy end caps replace the standard lock-on collars and bar-end plugs and because they are made from aluminum they won't crack or splinter. The flipside of this two-in-one design is that the cap can't clamp the handlebar like the original collar. Instead the Dangerboy End Caps are held in place by a grub screw that tightens down onto the handlebar — crude but effective, but it's not recommended on carbon bars.
