Hub Master is basically a set of axles, with two quick-release skewers, a single plastic jockey wheel and two disc brake spacers. The idea is that you fit them into the frame when you're travelling to protect the dropouts and brake pistons. The jockey wheel on the rear axle acts as a chain catcher, which is handy when degreasing the chain or general cleaning. The rear quick-release skewer on our sample is a 130mm-long road one — and with the extra 5mm spacer screwed on the axle to make it work on wider 135mm dropouts, the QR is too short. The easy fix is to replace the stock skewer with a longer one but this isn't perfect, hence the score.
